COUNTRIES

I didn’t mean to visualize the stereotypes of these countries. It’s more about my observations on people, culture and life itself.

CHINA

150х150 Canvas, acrylic paint

The basis of the painting is a portrait of Mao Zedong (a Chinese politician). The bird looking into his mouth are his people who worship the system following his ideology. One of the first things that catches the eye in this image is the beak, a tribute to the Peking duck. When I travel I get so tired of the loud quacking that I could not help but capture it. My work is traditionally filled with eroticism, but I must admit that China and erotica are alas incompatible)))

Japan yes)) And China is rabbits! Well, you know what I mean ;) Rabbits make up Mao's nose. Surrounded by symbolic objects in the form of fanatics, flowers, etc. The girl in the picture is naked, but I did not intend to highlight this. It remains only to tell about a selfie. Chinese tourists have a special approach to this kind of photo – no one takes a selfie like the Chinese do.

CHINA
ITALY

150х150 Canvas, acrylic paint

This country is a lively art gallery for me. You can endlessly get inspiration there. The main point in the picture is Simonetta (“The Birth of Venus” by Botticelli) and hands. Her hair is a symbol of love, a loving couple plaited in Italy’s curls. Everything from her round buttocks to the artifacts on the plate tells us that Italy is saturated with art. You want to gorge it as much as possible, you want to devour it with your eyes — and not just that :)

Italian cuisine is one of my most favourite. Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Bernini, Botticelli act as cooks and their haute cuisine fascinates and enchants.

Besides Italy is famous for winemaking. There is no Rome without wine! Wineglass in the shape of Colosseum is a symbol of art and taking delight in art.

ITALY
Holland

150х150 Canvas, acrylic paint

If we talk about Holland, then the first thing you mention is coffeeshops. So, I started with them. A tabletop by the window and a girl with a cigarette is the central point on the picture. Why is it a girl? Her lips! You might wonder why is there a cigarette in her legs? To smoke is to dive into another state, and for everyone it is different :) And a bit of surrealism will not hurt us. Right now, the heroine has a romantic mood, as hinted by a love story with the help of silhouettes.

Holland is also a mother lode of artists. I presented to you one of them with his “Sunflowers”. Vase in the shape of butt complements the picture with erotica, what else did you expect? And in the famous bouquet you can notice a recognizable ear. Water channels are here as well... they are in the form of tulips in the color of the national flag. And of course, I did not forget the nightlife — everything that is under the table: sex shops, sex theaters and so on.

Holland
United Kingdom

150х150 Canvas, acrylic paint

This time we will go to the UK. The center of the painting depicts an umbrella, which does not only symbolize the rainy weather in the UK, but performs the role of a ship, as in the 18-19 centuries the main sea power was in England. Yes, afternoon tea! The teapot and mug are in the form of an elephant’s trunk and serve as a reference to the British colonial expansion. And of course, the queen! She is on a horse in the form of a figure on the bow of the ship. I have not bypassed the musical contribution to world culture: the Beatles along with their fans. There are still a lot of little things in the painting: there are hats and a bottle, which refers to the pirates and the drinking nation (that was one of the last things I keenly felt in London). Last but not least, the eternal erotic theme in the form of waves. The United Kingdom is so multifaceted that one can draw many more paintings without repeating the plot.

USA

150х150 Canvas, acrylic paint

Campbell's soup can label and invitingly open thirsty red lips – how did they happen to be close? The values of modern America and therefore of all the West are together on the fridge shelf, and liberty of speech amicably coexists with a hamburger.

The key figure of the picture and the clear caricature of the Statue of Liberty, the namesake of the current US president who got to the top due to the slogan «Make America great again» - Disney character Donald Duck talks standing on the Campbell soapbox and affirms the American dream priority.

And what is around him? We see unclear outlines and obscure shadows of food products, goods and other things. They fall into a shopping basket of average Americans who came just to buy some milk to flakes. Hundreds and thousands of unnecessary goods follow necessary ones. They form the basis of modern American dream and make the whole world to work for its implementation.
